ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES FOR POLISHERS 1 Before turning the switch to the ON position be sure the pad is free to revolve 2 Care must be exercised to prevent accidental power cord pad contact Remember that a pad with compound or wax tends to adhere to objects it touches thus making the pad dangerous when rotating near the power cord If the cord should be picked up in the pad immediately shut the tool off and unplug the power cord before attempting to straighten it out Be sure to examine the power cord for damage such as cuts abrasions etc resulting from the pad contact If there is damage to the power cord have it properly repaired at a B amp D Service Center or other quali fied electrical repair company before using the tool again 3 Never use ...
